Sunny Start Childcare is a family-run child day care program in the North Park community of Valencia, CA off of McBean Parkway. Our family has been in the childcare business for over 16 years and are now bringing our mission of care to the Santa Clarita region.

 

With our progressive and holistic early childhood education philosophy, we understand that each child has unique needs and interests. We provide the environment and tools your child needs to thrive to the best of their abilities. Once they leave Sunny Start Child Care, they’re fully prepared for the next stage of their young lives.

We understand that the first 5 years of a child's life are the most influential and critical for the physical, mental, emotional, and social development and cater to this development everyday through enriching experiences and activities. As a home child care facility we prioritize children's feelings of comfort in their every day growth and prepare them for their schooling and futures in a nurturing and engaging environment. Our facility includes an indoor play area as well as a fenced outdoor play space in which we are closely supervising children's play, arts and crafts activities, reading, writing, and group play. We emphasize the use of basic American Sign Language (ASL) with our children and also introduce the basics of English, Spanish, and Arabic. Parent communication is a priority for us and we maintain daily communications with parents about children's milestones, current activities, and regular updates!
